Getting your next view ready…
The Peroneals-SMR primarily works the calves. It is a stretching movement performed with foam roll.

1 / 2How to
Movement instructions
Lay on your side, supporting your weight on your forearm and on a foam roller placed on the outside of your lower leg. Your upper leg can either be on top of your lower leg, or you can cross it in front of you. This will be your starting position.
Raise your hips off of the ground and begin to roll from below the knee to above the ankle on the side of your leg, pausing at points of tension for 10-30 seconds. Repeat on the other leg.

Your progress
Keep the same foam roll setup, range of motion and recording method when comparing Peroneals-SMR sessions.
Duration and completed sets.
Example: a 30-second set, followed by a 25-second set. Record the time you completed, not the target.
Review duration alongside your notes about the variation and control. Longer is a recorded result, not an instruction to extend every set.
Read the tracking guideThe examples show how to keep a record. They are not workout targets or a personalised training plan.
